Punished, David Lubar, 93 pages

Punished by David Lubar is short and easy. It is only 93 pages long, with large print, but it was still a good book. This book was about a boy named Logan who is “punished” by a man in a library. The word “punished” is a pun because in this story it means that Logan has to speak in puns. Logan soon realizes that this is not good because people groan at his horrific puns and he gets in trouble because he can’t stop speaking in puns. Logan goes back to the library to see the man who “punished” him. The man sends Logan on quests to find examples of oxymorons, anagrams, and palindromes. This is the only way that Logan can stop being “punished.” I like this book because it is clever in many ways.
